OK so sorry 4 being retarded but how do u tune the trifecta tunes? From what I've seen only a dealer can tune it unless I had a trifecta/HP tuner combo? I don't wanna be tied down 2 1 Guy to tune my car.

I am running the Trifecta base layer tune with my HPTuners tune on top of it. Vince can dial in your tune for you if you go pure Trifecta.

Then you need a tunable base Trifecta file like I have been running since last August.

Would it be smarter to order one from trifecta or get it from a dealer? I don't know any around wi. Once I got it would Vince be able to send me the tune or would I need a hole new one. I'm still really new to tuning cars LOL sorry.

Trifecta can 'loan' you the flashing hardware when you purchase the tune. You then log the tune, send it back to Vince and he dials it in for your car.

A dealer can do the same thing for you, but Vince writes all the tunes and tweaks them. I have the 'dealer kit' also, but it looks like you are ~5 hours from me.

Just so I understand this right. Your not having to skew the MAF to run the E anymore right?

That's right - we also found a fuel mass multiplier negating the need to skew the MAF table to make up for the difference in stoich.

In my case I'm actually pulling around 15% fuel on E85 right now. That's about the same as I would have to on 93 with my modified intake setup.

I was adding around 5% before on E60. Def getting more fuel in there.

Cold start in the garage was fine this morning, but I'm adding 9* cranking spark across the board as well. I'm sure the extra fuel is helping there also, I used to have to double shot prime it >70% E.

I haven't noticed any cold start issues on mine, but then again it never gets too cold in Seattle.

Nice. I was actually wondering about that and fuel consumption on full E.

I reset the Avg MPG display this morning but it was an easy cruise in, still reading over 30. I was getting around 27 on the 47% blend. Should be less, maybe 25 or so avg, we'll see.

I average 25-27 on GMS1 with 93 octane. If i could switch to E85 and stay the same I'll be in.

Yeah thats about what Im seeing right now on 47% blend. About 27 or so. Itll drop some for sure once you get a few WOT pulls logged in the ECU.

Wow I'm not sure how you guys are maintaining those kinds of mpg.. With the new tune for e35 my mpg have been constantly dropping I'm almost down to 19 mpg... With my tf tune I was about 23.5 on 93... Obviously I know that mpg will decrease but it seems like my foot is heavier than everyone elses haha
