i did what i wanted with a 5557 and if i felt like building the hell out of the motor i would keep it but this efr maxes right at the peak of what i know the car can do on its own to where ill be happy. for my style of driving it will give me a nice loooong tq curve so i dont break the tires loose on the track too win win win for me.....plus the watercooled portion of the efr is a huge deal to me...need the car to keep cool.

lol "the dsm motors are solid as can be" is ur mistake right there. dsm motors are what need repair left and right, not the turbos

Agreed.

Mitsubishi turbos are complete garbage. Actually, come to think of it, everything Mitsubishi makes is complete garbage. Those turbos chew up seals like nobodys business. Everytime you see a Mitsubishi turbo, it was either just freshly rebuilt or needs to be rebuilt.

Borg Warner is definitely the leader in turbo technology and quality.

I run a bigger version of the Forced Performance Mitsu 20g on my Van engine Mitsu 4G64, I use a TD06H-20g.

I bought mine used off a guy that drag raced his car weekly, he went bigger.

I never had to rebuild mine or have had any problems out of it thus far.

The FP68HTA is suppose to be the size of the Evo III and boost as quick but flow as much cfm as a TD05-20G

S20g is junk for the cost, a true Mitsu 20g is better.

S20g is the Hahn version of a 20g.

they are all crap if you ask me. ive never been a fan of those turbos at all.....like isaid you cant really compare a forced performance turbo to a oem mitsu or other s20g. fp is a better turbo company.

I dont want to stir anything up here, I just wanted to see what people say on this. I noticed that the EFR 6258 and a 20g turbo have the same max flow @ 44lbs/min. Now if they are the same how can the EFR flow more up top?
