i was running around with a muffler delete for about three months and all i can say is if you arent building a race car and you dont have bomb ass interior insulating your gunna love it for about three weeks then cruiseing on the highway your gunna go ******* nuts!! i love the sound, makes the ecotec actually sound like its got brass nuts but after a while it gets old unless you have 500 horse. good luck broski

 

i have catless downpipe and 3in mpx exhaust with muffler delete and it doesnt bother me. even on a 2 hour drive to pittsburgh a few weeks ago it was fine.

 

Its really not that loud at all. I can honestly say it was the perfect tone when I had my SS t/c

Bringing this back from the dead.

I just finished the muffler delete and it sounds great. Perfect sound for a stock car...should have been stcok like the srt4.

Its not loud at all! I was actually hoping it was louder, a cat delete should solve that.

However! I swear the car seems slower? Weird I know but wtf....doesnt pull as good like before. Maybe its just me but I need to drive it some more to confirm.

Plus is weight savings and sound. Im currently trifecta tuned. Oh and I hear the wristle more

 

I highly doubt it's slower. It's like an optical illusion, but with hearing, lol.

The same thing happened to me when I swapped out the stock d/p to the Needswings cutout (SRT 4).

 

I love my muffler delet it's not loud at all unless your wot even highway is a nice mellow sound...I'm sure that'll change when I install my Hahn catless dp and turbo xs rfl exhaust
