Noisy transmissions???

Does anyone else notice how noisy the tranny's are in the ss/tc. I noticed mine, you can hear every gear your shifting into, i get a clunk noise when the car is in gear and i let off the clutch???

Wanna hear everyone elses opinions??

Yeah, the TC tranny is quite clunky especially when you grandma drive it like I do 99% of the time.

My 2.4 G5 tranny was library quiet compared to this one.

My SS/TC is less than a week old and the tranny whines and vibrated the shifter worse than my SS/SC's did at 30K .

Mine makes someclunking noises sometimes too. I think the reason everyone notices the transmission is louder in the Turbo vs the Sc is the Clutch maybe?

I think the bigger clutch in the ss/tc accounts for the loud clunking noise everybody is hearing...I have put 9k on mine so far with this noise present and it has never not wanted to go into a gear or anything..so its just the nature of the car I do believe.
