Optimal Operating Temp?

I had read this and that about not letting the LNF heat up enough before driving etc etc, but i was wondering what the best range of degrees on the Coolent Temp is the best area

i go by oil temp, when oil is at 160 or over ur good, anything lower usually results in misfire, reduced power mode , or other issues.

160 before i hit any amount of boost, 185+ before i get on it. Also wait miles wise, gotta let everything get running and ready

I know it's probably overkill but i usually don't move it until 150 and won't get into boost for probably another 10 minutes after driving.

That doesn't warm up anything but the engine letting it idle.

Getting into boost is one thing you want to let the engine warm up a little bit. But all you need to start moving is oil pressure at normal operating level. Which takes a few seconds.

I let it warm up to 100 before I even move. I won't get into the gas at all unless I've been driving some to let the oil in the engine and trans get to operating temp.

FYI engines warm up faster under normal operating conditions than just sitting idle. So just get oil pressure (~ 10-15 seconds) then drive easy until operating temps are reached. You guys are just wasting gas (a lot of gas, 30 seconds idling uses more fuel than a start-up cycle) and time letting your cars engine idle until 150 is reached...

I like to get my oil temp up to 150 before I see any boost, and get to full operating temp before I run it hard.
