When stock.. NLS is awesome.. I nailed it perfect almost everytime.. Only on the track lol, too much is bad, now tuned.. Its another story.. I only do it 3-4 and sometimes 2-3, but only when needed.. Times that involve faces to be raped

but a used beat up girl is okay for some reason. most have been driven pretty hard by now.

Anyway I think there's a risk in everything you buy new or used, but yes I agree with you. I wouldn't want a used Evo ever.

I have this problem also, something to do with the higher boost levels I think. I can NLS fine 1-2 and 2-3 and 3-4 off my tune (in stock mode). Tune active, I can NLS perfect 1-2 every time, 2-3 misfires every time. I've tried shifting sooner, later, faster, idk what it is but it won't work. I just don't do it anymore, the turbo spools up quick anyway if you shift fast.

I say higher boost levels because first gear is still stock or close to stock on trifecta tunes, and i can still NLS 1-2 fine on the tune. Only the higher boost gears are a problem.

Exactly what he said. I NLS right at 6k and blip the clutch. Its pretty easy to do. Just don't do it going from 1st to 2nd.

You want stock AC Delco plugs or the NGK equivalent. Some have had success of going a step colder and gapped tighter when tuned.

And you want to be really fast with the shift. No need to be smooth. IN and OUT as fast as possible.... that's what she said.

NLS'ing seems to be smoother than lifting when shifting in my car at least.
