Hi I used to have a 06 SS s/c stage 2 amd a few other minor mods. I was thinking of getting a 09 SS. I just had a few ?s. How is the wheel hop on launches on this car. I know SS s/c annoyed me but that's expected with a fwd car. I know the newer ones have launch control how well does that work amd how well does the no lift shift work too. Thanks

 

1. The wheel hop on mine 2010 isnt bad at all, it might be cause im not pushing enough power down yet lol soon though

2. The NLS on our cars works great, thats one thing that GM did right this time around, its deff. a nice thing to have when racing

I dont think low end torq is as much of an issue on the tc, but it also has upgraded mounts and axles.

Wheel hop is there if you are making more hp, but theres ottp stage 1/2 mounts to help out.

Launch control works, but also depends on what kind of tires you have and if you are tuned you can set it to different rpms.

no lift shift works great! does what its suppose to do.
