Should i run more than 23psi on my E47 tune?
...... What's funny is you all say 30lbs... It's not, it is a spike to somthing steady . So its more or less a steady with spike of 30 for more Tq. The turbo and engine is seriously a ticking time bomb when doing this. But to each there own. There quite a few.guys who have 23-24lbs who made 400+ Ftlbs. Timing, and ect.
yes, it is a spike...i thought it was obvious that the k04 couldn't sustain 30psi throughout the whole rpm band
and i said that in jest, hes trifecta tuned anyway, M-Dub isnt an option for him

Yeah comprende. But when someone spikes to say 30 and comes down to say 24 that tune is a spike of 30 to a steady 24. It's not a 30 lbs tune. When people see someone saying they run 30 lbs they assume its the complete power band. So therefore the explanation. Of why and what is what I am getting at. Like I have my car set at a spuke of 25 but a steady 23 .. I call it a 23 lbs tune. And making a ko4 spike to 30 isn't hard what so ever its just stupid .
i am just looking up ways to make decent power on the stock turbo since right now i can't afford a turbo upgrade since i had to kick out unplanned money on the motor rebuild
Well if you have ethanol as a option fill up with ethanol. Mainly do e47 . Also spend the money to run at least a larger Meth nozzle so you can depend more on the Meth then the injectors. I mean of course you will depend on the stock injectors but having Meth will help you with better fueling. Get an interceptor as well to keep track of Ure systems
Man i just can't justify the money with the house purchase looming near. I was sitting here searching youtube and i watched about 10 trifecta vs hptuners cobalts race and it was like 7:3 trifecta. Given this could be before the latest HP tuners fuel updates and stuff but i couldn't see enough difference to justify the cost right now. Don't get me wrong i hear lots of people claiming HP tuners is faster, im just not finding the vids to prove it. In order to spend this money i would have to make a compelling argument to the fiancee.
Even BYTs own vids showed a Trifecta car and his tune with same mods door to door.
I need to find some track times of people who have been tuned by both.
What kind of trap speeds could i expect from a good HP tune on 93 and a good HP tune on E47? Right now im at 110 on 93 with Trifecta, and 113-115 on E47 tune. Sell me on it CCSS3.

Im not asking for a war of words.
Let me put it this way. Do you know of anyone with full bolt ons and HP tuned to around 23-24psi and their track times on 93 and E47? Or can you guesstimate a trap speed for a car as stated above?
Can't wait! PM me when you do.

I'm on 23.5psi 93 and fully bolted so as soon as the weather clears up I'll arrange something.
this is my .02 cents. if you plan on keeping your cobalt for at least a couple more years, buy hp tuners. pay for a tune from one of the tuners on here. they will help you thru the process. almost all of the tuners will help you from there on out when you need it. its a simple as exchanging e-mails. lol. learn to tune your own car. it does take awhile, but it is worth it.
