if you are just trying to run wastegate spring only. run a vacuum line from your turbo to the side port on the wastegate and leave the top port vented to atmosphere

You talking about the wastegate solenoid? You can run the lines like Blazin suggested and then just plug in the solenoid but don't hook any vac lines to it. It does need to be plugged in so the ECU can see it even tho you're not using it.

Theres 3 ports. 2 on the sides one on top of the port that is shiney goes to your boost source. The port on top goes to your wga. The 3rd port can be left vta, its the plastic black one. Make better sense?

So basically how it does is one from the turbo goes as the boost source then the other goes to the wga?

Yes. Run a line from the turbo to the front port and a line to the wga from the top port. The 3rd port just bleeds off air since its a boost confroller basically.

The only time you need the boost control solenoid is when you want to control your boost via the ecm. If you connect the boost control solenoid to the wastegate you WILL need to be retuned as you were tuned before for a manual boost controller.

What in the world are you talking about? Top port, side port, bottom port, inside port.

OP, if you have an aftermarket wastegate, you don't need to run the stock wastegate solenoid. It just needs to be plugged in.

Yes. You would still hook it up exactly like me and frogs said. The boost controller goes in that line in between the turbo and wastegate side port.
