My LTFT's get worse with the humidity .... its at -7.1 today. I've only seen positive fuel trims one time since ive owned my car...... right after i Seafoamed it .

I'm wondering if I should throw a set of plugs in her .... I'm at 10K miles and 8K have been on a Superchips tune . I've seafoamed her twice and I can't believe how bad it smoked .... the carbon build up on these Direct injected cars must be nasty . I often wonder if the intake valves stick a little sometimes cause the exhaust note with change out of no where and sound boggy . Some of the braver members should pop the intake manifold off and take a look at the valves .... then we might know how they are holding up to gunk build up 8)

Here is a pic i found of a DI motor with 22K miles on it
Mine does the snap crackle and pop just like yours in slow 1-2 shifts and easing of the throttle at around 4k. Mine only started doing it once I put my catless downpipe on so i figure it's normal.

Kinda makes you think about getting a catch can, huh?....
Yep lol..... I was looking at Catch Can's last night and wondering where i should put it . I'm going to take the trap off the bottom of the intercooler today and see if there is anything in there.

If the intake valves are that bad i wonder what the throttle body looks like ??

Yep i'm sure it's because of the cattless DP but mine has been getting progressively worse as time goes by ..... must be the stock Resonator and muffler are wearing in and unable to keep it quiet anymore.

I don't know if one can will do it or not .... I've seafoamed my car twice in 10K miles and it smoked just as bad the 2nd time as it did the first . I wonder how often is too often with seafoam? Cause i just did it two weeks ago and would really like to do it again but dont want to over do it.

Its funny .... my car smoked like a bitch in the driveway for a good 5 minutes ..... and then kept smoking for about 5 miles down the road . I honestly thought i hurt the car and it was burning oil cause it wouldn't stop smoking lol.

Okay, so I guess one can cleans ALL of that heavy gunk out or gets enough of it out that the car runs better.

I'm still trying to figure out how this stuff is going to clean those valves off. It's not like you're rubbing them with this stuff.

Uses the heat from the warm motor to clean the crap off that's why it says to do it when up to op temp and let it set for awhile to dissolve

Cool! So I can give Stanley Steamer a call too then lol

It has solvents in it that are supposed to break up deposits. My CPs are clean and dry inside and my TB was pretty clean at 20K miles. I cleaned the TB with carb cleaner and it was cleaner than my GTO's TB was at 6K miles LOL. It is a PITA to clean the TB on this car.
