Air is not as good as before LOL. DA is probably a lot worse than it was the last time you went to the track. You should be trapping 115-117 MPH.

The front O2 is shot and making teh car run funky above 6K. Running right I have no issue hitting 115 on the same tires

I've already replaced the rear 02, now it looks like the front is starting to go.

If you are getting that P2237 code it is not the front O2 sensor. It is in the tune trust me I went through the same issue with my car.

Not getting that. That code kept popping up months ago, changed the rear 02 and never saw it again.

Why do you think the front O2 is going out then?

The other day it was very hot and we had a lot of smog in the city, i did a 3rd gear pull and it didnt felt as quick as usual, and it didnt sounded as smooth, then i shift into 5th gear cruising down to 65mph, and i had a kind of rumble from the engine, like a little hesitation, lasted like 1 second...

Im guessing its misfire?

About a month ago i had a CEL and they changed 2 plug. (misfire cyl 2 and 3)

By reading the thread now i can see i probably should have changed teh 2 other plugs as well..

Is there a ''cheap'' tool i can get to see if i have misfire or pull timing etc... just to make sure its running fine ?

great thread by the way

When it's hot & humid everyone gets slower. Nature of the beast.

I have been getting this hesitation off and on at anything from 45mph down in any gear. I changed the plugs and O2 sensor and its still there. I am wondering if its missfires but the interceptor says none present, but I might be looking at the wrong place. Or I was listening at idle since I have the back seats and trunk mat out and hear kindof a little intermittent scraping sound that sounds like it might be the fuel pump in the gas tank. Any thoughts?

I ran them for 2000 miles, nothing bad to say but the car seemed happier when I switched to the 6509 ngk one step cooler.

I know for that part, i just know my car well and it felt weird, the only thing that was really strange to me was the hesitation. Like it didnt liked the 3rd gear pull...

Today it was colder and seemed normal, i just want to make sure its running fine.

I've noticed that my car afterfires alot more now that the weather has gotten humid and sticky . When i shift out of 1st to 2nd it sounds like an SRT-4 lol snap crackle pop! . Every once in awhile i will get a loud pop after letting of the throttle ..... like a full blown backfire ...... the motor is almost at an idle like if your just coasting to a stop after giving 1st a run up to 4K rpm .... or if your shifting really slow to 2nd...... then POP! . My LTFT's get worse with the humidity .... its at -7.1 today. I've only seen positive fuel trims one time since ive owned my car...... right after i Seafoamed it .

I'm wondering if I should throw a set of plugs in her .... I'm at 10K miles and 8K have been on a Superchips tune . I've seafoamed her twice and I can't believe how bad it smoked .... the carbon build up on these Direct injected cars must be nasty . I often wonder if the intake valves stick a little sometimes cause the exhaust note with change out of no where and sound boggy . Some of the braver members should pop the intake manifold off and take a look at the valves .... then we might know how they are holding up to gunk build up 8)

Here is a pic i found of a DI motor with 22K miles on it

I'll do it one better. 2009 SS/TC, 15,000 miles, Shell gas only, and oil changes every 3,000 miles. These pics are from a local member on here...

Kinda makes you think about getting a catch can, huh?....
