Yeah, I wish we had at least some kind of update on this. If its closer than I think then I may wait on my purchase of the hahn intake.

I am going to Mosport, June 24th for some testing with my TC, average speed is around 100mp/h! Would be nice to test one of these intakes on a high speed track like Mosport...

there is no straightener in the k&n, I watched a few of their videos and tried to see one. I dont think I've ever seen one in a k&n intake. heat shield is a nice touch though.

good thing about the SRI from KN you don't have to worry about all that water splashing in your fenderwell while your CAI is sucking lots of air to give you that HP in that motor. Plus the heat shield is suppose to prevent the heat from entering your motor and draw in more cool air. Its a great unique design, but I'll just stick with the Hahn, since its tuned proven, but I would like to see a video how everyone's intake sounds as they rev up the motor and share their ideas what they think, and give little detail on pro's and con's on each intake just like Terminator2 has his, but more formal.

In reguards to all the update questions I am the one who started this whole process and contacted term and oothers to make this a possibility. As of last conversation, there were a couple prototypes being fitted and getting ready for testing. I will call patrick next week to get an update. I'm am really happy with the interest everybody is giving this venture and am confident all the knowledgable people who are involved will make a prouduct that is second to none.

They need to post stuff up or this new K&N intake and revised AEM intake are going to eat up their available market share and make hard to sell to the people that already bought intakes, unless what their design is just that much better.

I'm in the willing-to-wait-but-not-if-doesn't-come-out-sometime-soon-or-isn't-a-ton-better bucket.

X2

I'm at the point that I have the spare cash and I can tell that the K&N is actually worth it. I wanna wait to see what these other companies have to offer but I'm not gonna wait forever.
