what vin digit shows lsd?
the VIN doesnt show if it has LSD or not. IF you do not have the window sticker..You need to open the trunk, and look ath the parts indentification sticker in the back. It will have codes like 34U (rally yellow) for example. Once there, locate G85 for the LSD code.

axle codes are still not in the VIN. Older cars they on the right axle as you look at the car, newer cars will have it also marked in the door or located in the same place we are sending you! Never has been in the VIN
yes i get the point moron, thanks. this is for a car about 300 miles away, i can't much teleport over there, grab any numbers i need and teleport back.
and older cars also have it in the engine bay as well, usually on a manufacturer's label, along with the vin and engine codes.

The lable in the trunk is called a spid (Standard Production Identification) label. It has all the RPO (regular production options) your car was built with. So yes call the guy and verify that RPO G85 is listed. All those cryptic 3 number codes refer to somthing the car was built with including the paint code.
By the way if i remember right we made G85 standard in 09 I believe. It was only an option in 08 on TC's

Unfortunately its still an option. It should be standard IMHO.
