there are no more cobalts in production i thought? 2010 will bring the chevy cruze

 

Last I heard, they are doing the Cobalt for half of the 2010 model year and switching to the Cruze in the last half of the 2010 model year.

 

last i heard the SS will get the stage kit then re do its lap on the "ring" so it can beat that ugly renault megane r26.r

I was expecting the SS/SC stage kit, but that was even more retarded. At least Rick Roll us or something.

 

I remember in some thread they mentioned a recall on certain VIN numbers of 08 SS/TCs because of front roters causing steering wheel to shake. I just called my dealer and they said there was nothing about that and theres no recalls fo r08 ss/tc's at all. anybody have any info about the front rotoers b/c my steering wheel shakes. dont know if I just need to get tires balanced or what.

God I hope it comes out soon, have been waiting to pick it up for my little brothers 09 ss/tc for his birthday present. He has been dying for this kit to come out.

His birthday is Aug 15th, I doubt it will be out in time though

 

Just as a quick update here for you guys.

We got a rundown of where we are with this kit now but I want to get clarification tomorrow morning before I mislead anyone tonight with a new post that might have incorrect info.

As a brief insight, the team in charge of production with this kit was amazed at the actual response that came out from the post on GMTS that all you guys responded too. It definitely raised this project to a whole new level. I know it sucks to feel like you have to beg a company to get what you want but with the way things are right now, I personally feel like it's a testament to GM Performance that this kit is still on the table and moving towards your local dealers part shelf.

Well hopefully that means there will be some hard data rather than more of the "be patient...it's coming...uh...soon"
