Hell I have 15000 miles on my 09 and I just bought it November - it's broken in alright.

There are other ways to make h.p. I hear that Trifecta can eliminate the learn down and the Superchips warantees their Flashpaq - and with the way GM is, who is to say they will warrantee the car anyway?

This is a tough predicament to be in. I have been waiting since April for this. I dealt with the "end of first quarter" routine...and now this?

If it's not coming, it's not coming. I have heard the excuses about GM and the issues they are having. I sympathize, I really do.....but I just don't know...

Trifecta is aggressive but Superchips is making what the Stage 1 kit would make anyway - with a bit more whp as well. AND that is only on the 91 octane tune....wait for the 93 octane tune.

They have to warranty the car and GM wont go away. Just look saturn and pontiac are gone and they are warrantied. If the stage kit is installed my a chevy dealer it will be warrantied.

You guys... ugh. Making a performance package is tough. THey have to keep in emissions, sound and safe for drivetrain. so they wont go crazy, they also have to test the **** out of it which takes time, lots of time. They arent some shop that makes 1 tune on 1 car get 50whp and put it on the market. There are soo many delays in the real world, we are lucky to even know about this kit. So quit the bitching and wait. You guys are acting like the members on mazda forums when Cobb was announcing products, bitched sooo much then they killed their development for mazda. you should be happy GM even makes performance kits for the car they sell. If you are so annoyed theres plenty of other ways to get your tune and parts. I for one need to keep my warranty as I drive 30k miles a year so I have no problem waiting for quality. Its like blizzard studios, makers of diable, starcraft, warcraft. The **** dont get released until its done...and obviously its not done.

Im still gonna wait it out and run a hpt safe tune with this ecu in the mean time. I need those sensors, and really want the factory kit installed and documented on my car.

While i like your logic, thats not the issue here, being well known with blizzard, when i blizzard says the World of Warcraft Expansion pack, is being released on OCT 13th, and i go to gamestop, and wait on line, i'd expect that pack to be released, GM has been pushing this kit back and back and back, if they would have said the kit will be released mid 2014, then nobody would be upset right now.

GM never said the kit will be released soon. GMtunersource did.

I wouldn't get my hopes up until crateenginedepot gets official word.

While your logic would work if a date was set...its not

stage 1
"Efforts are being pushed hard to have this kit available to all of you by the end of June."

stage 2
"the Stage 2 kit will take a little longer to reach your local GM parts counter, about 3 months"

GMtuning source

So no date has been set, my logic still stands :P

Blizzard says those same things. Do you remember WC3? or D2? All their games had a loose release date of Q4 2007 then were pushed a year. So until they set a date, ie. July 1st 2009. The claim can't hold. If GMPP said June 28th 2009 release date and it didnt get released today, then I could see warranting a flag to GMPP and wanting a response as to why. Now...do we need to continue to nit pick? I think if people can afford and old enough to own a car they can act like grown ups and stop acting like children because they are behind the internet and not face to face with GMPP.

Not Being childish, but just like games, if a certain time frame isn't met, people will get annoyed.
I can wait, because if i want my warranty, i have no choice.

Just wish the "End of June" was true, just like everyone else waiting for this kit.

I completely agree. I'm so freaking anxious for this. But what I dont want to see is people go ape **** over them not making a loose release date, like what happened in the Mazda community. It got soo messed up, cobb thought no one even wanted the parts and just pulled out, even though they sold out of every part they ever made for the ms3/ms6.

Anyway. Tomorrow is still June and I am with you I want this by end of June. It would make my summer driving very happy

This convo also reminds me how excited I am for D3 and SC2!! See you have to wait the longest for the best things :/

Yeah, speaking of games....

do you remember the how far Forza 2 got pushed back? OMG... talk about annoying. I went out and bought a 360 the day it was suppose to come out to get that game, "what forza 2 isn't out? What you dont know what forza 2 is?" It got pushed back from august-september to may!!! rediculous.

We all bitch and moan but 99% of the people that check this forum for updates will end up buying this thing when it comes out anyways. I just hope its sooner than later.

^^^ x2. Me included, as I'd like to complain, but in all honesty I'm just going to wait it out till this comes, have this be my first performance mod and then go from there.

When we continue to get less than credible information from the only place that has the ***** to even say ANYTHING about this Stage kit (gmtunersource.com) I feel like we may have been led down the wrong path here.

Anyways, look at these claims. gmtunersource.com is claiming a 275hp rating at the MOTOR, not the tires - which to put it lightly is WEAK.

Superchips stepped up with a 91 octane tune and handheld programmer for less money (based on reports of Stage kit cost - not to mention labor) that puts up better numbers and has room to grow with 93 octane tunes and modded tunes....

My mind is pretty much made up.

COBB pulled out of the MS3 community because of the lack of respect that recieved.
