Where is the GM stage kit?
Yeah, I'm planning on leaving Arizona for a cross-country trip on June 28th.... I MIGHT have to put it off a couple days if my dealer can get it.
The next question is, if I can order it and have it mailed to where I'll be for most of the summer, (Ohio) and where the dealers are in north central Ohio that are qualified to install it?

Anybody with $5000 can buy the Tech 2. Then add the supplements every year for the new stuff, at a hefty price, and you're off to the ball game. And then get a dealer number so you can access the GM website. THEN you're off to the ball game.
In that case, I'd be IN THE GAME, literally!
thats a whole lot of ball games
With the dealers who might have to close, Tech2's might end up being out in the market heh.
Thats how my buddy got all his old Ford diagnostic stuff... local dealer folded and then held an auction.

Happy reading.
This is another link found at the bottom of the first link. It just keeps getting better.

This one explains how the dealers get the updates now and how the Tech 2 is used as a "pass through" for the purpose of updating the cars systems.
I STILL like the 55 Chevy best.

I hope you understood more of it than I did. But it is good reading. It gave me a whole new perspective on the control systems on the new cars.
BUMP....to again **** people off.....most people were probably pickled over the weekend.
I got stomped by an LS2 GTO the other day - looking forward to some retribution soon.
I think the stage kit with a hahn MODpipe will be pretty kickass....

The delay of the GM stage kit was just blamed on Obama.
Post of the year.
What Obama is trying to do is actually, in the long run, better for everyone. Never mind the bleeding heart liberal stab at "clean cars" and the "environment". He is trying to force Chevy's hand into attempting to break the UAW. And that, is a commendable thing. The UAW is the worst thing to happen to american quality IMO, ever. It's a joke. I see what these guys try to get away with every day, and I am not even in the auto industry. How stupid can people be, the economy sucks, people are looking to cut back, and we just think it's OK - and even produce SLOWER because we are not getting our overtime anymore? Idiots.
BTW - I lived near a Ford Ranger assembly plant in Edison, NJ where I would see on a regular basis guys from the plant go to the neighborhood bar and drink during their lunch hour!!! Quality? I think not.

Then why does the UAW now own 55% of Chrysler after THEIR bankruptcy negotiations. If you think Obi-wan is trying to bust the union, you're wrong IMO.
p.s., I agree the union has become a very bad thing.
oops, off topic again. Sorry.

And that "ownership" is only a fiscal value, they will have 0 "ownership" rights meaning they will have no control.
Really the union has been bust, the endless bleed of every increasing wages and legacy costs has been patched, at least for now.
I think it also has been a serious kick in the head for the UAW/CAW as this has shown them that, no these companies dont always have money to pay them more.
