the stg 1 kit shoul be out in the next few weeks (1-3) stg 1 includes tune, sensors, pigtails.
and there willl be a stg2!!!!!!!!
the stg2 will include stg1 and the intake but it will not be out until late 09.
stg1 will net 290hp and yes th stock intake is restrictive. but its ok to run and the stg 2 will just get you more power, he said they are releasing it without the intake due to high demand, take it for what its worth its from a good source, however i cannot give the name or number of my source as you would need a dealer code to contact him ect ect.sorry if nonone believes me and sorry he could not give ma an exact date all he said was within a couple weeks. although it doesnt make sence about the stg1 and then stg 2 thoughtthe whole delay was because the kit need the inlet duct, so maybe the stg 1 come wiht a duct from air box to turbo and stg 2 comes wiht full intake ???? i guess we will see
Then why would they post on the official blog that it comes with an intake!!

I'm not saying I don't believe you, but there are too many ******* gray areas with this kit. I'll believe stg 2 when I see stage 1s come out first. stage 2 will be out 6 years from now when all the LNF's are aftermarket tuned or not even in considerations for a stage 2 that nets you 20whp for 400 bucks!

Wrong moves GM if you ask me about not making an intake. CIA has my $$ on an SRI because at least theyre working quicking to get the MAF's correct!

Exactly, you know it'll be made well, have proper R&D and be competitively priced. Craftsmnship will be 3x that of Dejon. From what I've hear about that, the freaking intake can be pulled right off ...

Stage 1, which gets you the same hardware package as all the others, with the Cobalt tune of course, will be available around July 1. The intake tube, or Stage 2 if you insist, will be available around the end of this year. The Stage 1 MAY make a LITTLE less power than the others but the intake will make up the difference. That's from MY source.

Tell us what you hear. We still don't have a part number so not sure what you are going to accomplish.

Plus you could get it cheaper through CED so kind of a waste of time.

Make sure to go to CEDs website and jot down all the part numbers for SS/SC cars and the HHR SS kit. THat way you can prove them right or wrong

Do you have any info that we may not??? I'm over the grey area **** ... it's more than annoying now ... I'm not listening to anyone other than GM or a CREDIBLE source that has information.

Otherwise, Uncle Tom can kiss my ass on the information he shared but has to be kept secret!

Yep we determined that a long time ago. No one really knows until it's released.

***OFFICIAL REPORT FROM MY SUPER SECRET SOURCE AT GMPP***

STAGE 1: The official Kit arriving 1 July 2009 will only include one sticker, this sticker will instantly remove the learn down feature, and give the car 400 VTEC-HP. This sticker must be applied at a certified GMPP Dealership, and requires approximately 3 Shop hours.

STAGE 2: 3rd 1/4 2009: In addition to the stage 1 sticker; A Matching sticker will be placed on the passenger side of the car and the front bumper will be removed exposing the intercooler, the air intake tract will be modified to expose a conical filter out the area where the bumper would normally be. 450VTEC-HP

STAGE 3: The High Rise spolier will receive another Deck to improve aerodynamics. Body panels of the car that are ground effects will be painted a primer green color. This will increase the top speed to 191 MPH. 515 VTEC-HP

The reason I don't post up the details are because the kit and all the details of the kit are not official as of yet and there is no reason to post anything until its official.

I think that is a good plan. Many of us aren't trying to decide between GM kit or aftermarket...we are just waiting for the good word to get the GM kit...the next thing I want to see from you guys is a link to where to purchase it!
