it's freakin loud, i have a muffler delete and the whistle is louder...now my car is in limp mode but not throwing codes, im taking it in tomorrow depending on if i can get a loaner

 

I'm sure yours (Arizbea) is just the car in warmup mode... like its always done.. Cobalts are loud though, I agree.

BigBuzzum, you say the problem existed before you installed the k & n filter, so why are you asking if any others have this problem with the filter? Check around your vacuum lines, if all else fails just take it to the dealership, you still have a warranty intact. Then let us all know what it was incase we have this problem in the future.
