I can't really see how or why this wouldn't fit on a kappa just as easily.... unless for some reason the coolant and oil lines are different, but I really doubt that.

If anything it's probably far easier considering the loads of room you guys have to work with on the exhaust manifold side as compared to deltas.

thanks matt and gone in 10 sec for your reply...I did not realize the capabilities of this turbo, and now i am stoked to hopefully purchase before the holidays.
My next group of things to get:
1. zzp titanium springs
2. ferrea valves
3. zzp cam
4. zzp ZFR turbo
5. wiseco pistons

The dyno chart on our cam page shows the gains we picked up by switching from the stock pump lobe to our larger pump lobe- 395whp without, 474whp with the larger lobe and no other changes. I was also able to then add more boost and picked up more power yet. I'm not sure where you came up with your 12% number, but you need to stop throwing it around.

Going to a larger pump on top of the larger pump lobe is not going to do much at all because the larger lobe already supports enough fuel flow to where the injectors become the limitation in most cases.
It sounds like we're talking a mixture of apples and oranges here between 93 and straight E85. Were the dyno numbers 93 or E85? E85 usually requires say ~15% more fuel, so 15% more fuel need and then 20% more fueling available with the lobe mean that it ends up being about the same with the lobe on E85 as 93 is without it?

Just so I understand:

93: ~450whp
93 w/lobe: ~525+whp

E85: ~395whp ?
E85 w/lobe: ~474whp ?

I can definitely attest to the 20% increase with the larger fuel lobe. Works wonders.

Just ordered mine. Is ZZP offering new tunes with this turbo or should I contact Trifecta directly through their website? I just have the basic bolt on's (intake, exhaust, intercooler/pipes).

What other mods will you be running with your ZFR? Since you are in MI, if you want to come in, we can dyno tune your setup.

I wish ZZP was in Colorado! They could perfect the high altitude tunes and get everyone in California business.

Damn if only wishes could come true.

That's all the mod's I'm planning to use that I listed (intake, exhaust, intercooler/pipes). If I don't end up getting a canned tune and I drive over there (you're about 3 hours away) I'd probably also be interested in a new clutch and a way to strengthen the trans.

Clutch is no problem. Strengthening the trans requires swapping to the 4.45 final drive in order to make a significant difference. Otherwise it is just tightening the bearing clearances and some other small modifications.

We sold out of ZFRs in 1 day and ordered more cores. Kits are starting to ship today, but we are also waiting on some of the hardware. We will have 10 more cores arriving here tomorrow. Everything that has been ordered up to now should be shipped by Tuesday. Thanks for all the support!

Was fitment tested for a Sky/ Solstice?

And for those that I mentioned that we have more room, that is false! Is it easier to access, Yes but its pretty crammed in the area of the turbo.

Anyways, fitment of the ZFR please...... please don't be lazy. Moving to MI and Matt I would be very interested in meeting you....face to face.

lol, Lazy? We are all working hard over here. We just don't have a Sky/Solstice to install one of these on. If you come to Michigan, stop by. We will go grab some lunch while the guys install a ZFR on your car.

lol.. ok there bud relax..

If I'm wrong, then my mistake. Just judging by the fact that we have to fight with clearance issues with the firewall seemed far more difficult to navigate around than from what I was seeing under the hood of the kappas.

Plus I never said that it absolutely would fit, I simply said that I couldn't see why it wouldn't. It's really not much bigger than the bnr you have mind you.. :P
