Some may know and some may not know, ZZP put their highly anticipated ZFR turbo on my car while it was up there last. At first i wasnt really too sure i wanted to run this turbo, but man i am absolutely amazed by it. It has such a quick spool time and puts down some nasty power. Final numbers were 473/428tq. The dyno graph is comparing the ZFR to the BNR i had on previously. I really couldnt be happier with the results, and im excited to see what everyone can put down with them when they are officially released. We couldve gotten more out of it with the 5th injector and switching to e85, however with me having a stock trans, we all decided it was best to keep the power where it is. I dont have a wide open vid just yet, only one where they were breaking in the new engine on the dyno. Ill have more pics and videos up soon. Im sure matt aswell as others will be chiming in as far as the technical aspect goes.

the joke which really wasnt a joke was "see you in a month or less matt". ***** going to go boom in no time lol. They didnt have any in stock and they are back ordered. I told tim to go ahead and order me one and sit it in a corner because we both know ill be back very very soon.

 

Car sounds really nice and makes good power. I was going to say I have a video of one of the dyno pulls but looks like you don't need it.

I see in your mods list you have a bov and maf relocate, I was under the impression with this turbo we could use the factory style recirculating system? Or did you choose to put on a bov blow through system?

I was thinking the same thing. You can see the bpv nipple on the zfr in one of the pics, just nothing connected to it.

 

what kind of exhaust do you have on the car? you didnt list what manufacturer

Ehh itll be there eventually i guess. Tracks tend to break a lot of **** and my wallets empty. Definitely not until the new trans.
