ZZP EFR Turbo results
Thanks for quoting that Chase. James just doesn't get it. James- if you want to discuss a different combination of parts, then start your own thread. This is not a zzp thread. It was not started by zzp. It was started by a customer who wanted to make a post about his setup, which according to you is nothing like what real customers want. Sorry, but money buys parts, and a lot of people like to spend a lot. People who are not willing to spring for cams because they cost too much would be more likely to stick with the stock turbo or opt for a cheaper turbo upgrade.
Either way, maybe our next efr buyer will have a very lightly modded car so that you can get the numbers you are looking for.

Actually i do get it, i actually went to college unlike most people!! I GET ITS NOT A ZZP CAR, All i said is people want to see a stock engine cars non e number. And you get all pissy. How hard is it to understand that most people arent gonna do what you have matt at your shop or chase? Apparently pretty damn hard To you matt.. Cuz you seem to think everyone should be fully built if they go to a small sized turbo like the 6758!!!!
I know this thread isnt started by You or someone else from zzp. I never disrespected chases numbers.. Nor was i disrespectful to him. I think his numbers are great, but my post was never about him, it was about people wanting to see numbers on a stock engine car without e. (your not showing the true potential of the turbo with ethanol and a built engine!)

LOL at you, i dont think you know so im sure he will forgive you if you ask nice. His srt would embarrass your car and mine, and other then zzps shop cars, every other cobalt on the site.
my car and its slowness has nothing to do with this. who really cares what this jack wagon has to say. if you wanna know what it puts down on a stock car on **** gas then strap one up and find out. ZZP cant test this car with this mod and this gas blah blah blah. thats impossible.

So to summarize, a lot of people with full bolt-ons are anxiously awaiting the ZFR to be released. So much so that they have jacked the OP's thread with their own questions, even though the OP's setup is not close to being the same as most people will be running.
ive tried to answer as many questions as i can that people have had.
So, I have regular bolt ons,no built motor. No ethanol near me and not planning to run meth either just 91 octane pump. I have the funds for a ZFR turbo... catch my drift? I would love to be a tester for something like this.
Yep ..... I knew it would turn into an entertaining thread .... sorry your thread got jacked chase lol.
I think his numbers are great for what is most likely a mild tune because of his transmission. I have no doubt that the efr is a performer and I'm ready to buy. I'm glad someone other than a zzp employee finally had one installed. It'd be nice to see what the kit consists of (picture?). I basically want to know, could this theoretically bolt on to a stock car? Meaning will it work with all current bolt ons (downpipe, charge pipes, etc)? If so, when can I get my hands on one?
Sweet numbers and a healthy build at that! Well done Chase!
For ZZP...
Just put up numbers of a Cobalt LNF with intake, catless downpipe and charge pipes with the ZFR and a tune. Nothing more. Nothing less. Most will run 24-25 psi so lets start there.
What can we expect from this turbo bolted to a cobalt that is like 99.9% every other cobalt is all that's wanted. We know more can be had from this with cams, E85, 5th injector, what have you. We see that. It's posted.
Just the basics with the ZFR. That's all. No altered fueling, no cams, no meth, no 2.1 block.
