I think by negativity he means you almost come off like you are prodding for a fight in every post. Hence why earlier in the thread when you had said nothing, someone mentioned we should go ahead and bring out the popcorn. It's more a negative demeanor, not a negative comment.
Chase numbers are awesome no denying that...You done a hell of a job on your car Chase...seeing his numbers made me excited and Im sure it made alot of other members excited as well.
Thats why we kinda jumped in the thread wanting to know how much it would put down on a stock setup cause like it was said most members probably aint gonna go the deep into a build like chase, well at least as of right now cause they dont forsee themselves doing it but in the world of modding things change, **** im thinking about doing springs now smh lol. Majority of us is gonna be intake, dp, upc, tune, ZFR and maybe i/c on 91/93 so we kinda looking for official confirmation of what we kind of know already of what the results of the turbo will be, ya know a rough estimate.
This thread is really the first tangible thread of ZFRism and we all hungry for info and data. We been waiting a while so this presents an opportunity to fill up our ZFR appetite. I mean can you blame us?? it been long while we been waiting for anything. We As consumers we like to hear all kind of great things about a product we going to buy, especially an add-on that give great results to setups the same or similar to our particular own. This thread opened up a door for us to pile on in.
Matt if you say the ZFR will give a stock unmolested LNF ~400 whp or even ~350 on pump then im good. Cause with my mods and my tune I KNOW I will break 400whp but more importantly 400+lbs easitly and safely

I think the thing cobalt owners will need to understand is that there is no garauntee on anything when you start making 400whp. **** will break, it will not be the fault of the EFR/GTX/BNR (well aside from the power gains), it will be because of increased stress levels/abuse. If you want a car that does not break.... DO NOT MOD IT!
Hell some people on LS1 cars had luck taking stock rod bolts on 98s to 450-475whp while others blew on 380whp.
In summary, 400hp may be easily obtained. In no way will these power levels net you a garauntee of no issues until 150,000 miles.

Everyone who mods should know there is a risk of something breaking if they think otherwise they a fool lol and You are right more powah means added stress. I have accepted the risk and you right again If you dont want **** to break dont touch it. Still dont mean it wouldnt break tho hahahaha. At the end of the day the old saying goes you make your bed you sleep in it. Anybody wanting to make 400/400 should be ready for all the possible outcomes of such a balt
once again james, its not zzps car, its mine. I told them what i wanted done to it and they did it. Im sure if they wanted to release stock motor numbers they will, however this is not the thread for it. Quit bitching and move along if your going to just keep picking fights. Im tired of it. Im trying to relay as much info as i can to people in the thread and it was meant to be informative. Keep your mouth shut before my thread gets locked.
Thanks for the info Matt, makes more sense when you put it that way. I kept googling the percent changes between e85 and 91.. couldnt really come up with any formulas or anything..
Alero, I wanna come see your car. Where is the AV lol
