Here's a pic installed on my car- Don't mind the hand cut brackets. They will be laser cut with radiused edges, etc...

The bumper cover went right on. The only place it hit was at the pointed lowest corner on the bracket, which will be rounded off on the production brackets anyway.

It's hard to see on the LNFs with the grill in there.

I think most cobalts run around without it in there.

Here's a couple more pics-

Polished cast end tank:

Close up of the fins. Notice the staggered design to catch more air.

The cores are custom built for us to our specs, so ZZP brand.
The core is rated at 680 HP. However, I think that putting a generic HP rating on an intercooler core doesn't make a lot of sense. This core would easily support 1000 HP if you were talking about running 6 psi on a big block. However, I wouldn't use it on a 50psi 2 liter going after 1000 HP with 500 degree temps at the turbo outlet.

Edit- I thought it was 650, but I rechecked and it's 680 since we made it thicker than originally spec'd.

Well said. Hp doesnt really matter, its more of the psi your pushing.

really? hell yea thats awsome. iv never mounted an intercooler on an LNF but i put a heat exchanger on a buddies LSJ and getting the bumper to fit was a NIGHTMARE and something I hope to never have to do again. When i saw how thick this intercooler was thats all that was going through my head was the file and sawing the bumper and test fitting and ugh that sucked. Especially in my case with my paintjob i dont want to have to cut up my bumper. So if you say it mounts with no modifications to the bumper, then im all over it
