So far, so good on dyno testing. IAT2s are below IAT1 and only hitting 64 degrees on 26psi pulls from 3000 to 7500 RPM.

Will this work with all brands of charge pipes?

Here's a shot of some air temps shown at the end of a dyno pull-

The ambient air temp reading is a bit high. They are never very accurate on these cars. Actual temp in the dyno room was about 55 degrees.

After running a dyno pull starting at 3000 RPM in 3rd gear and running through the end of 4th gear at 26psi, the charge temp was 307 and the IAT2 was 84.

The core on our IC is a little larger than the Hahn core based on being 2" longer. The cast end tanks add a lot of lead time and cost up front, but once we are rolling, the time and cost of building each intercooler is reduced. If we sell enough, we can save money for ourselves as well as our customers. The strength of this design is also improved compared to welded sheet metal end tanks. Barring unforseen changes in our costs, it seems that we will be coming in at a much better price than Hahn's IC.

Seems a bit big for the stock turbo. But it definitely looks good.

Will it work with stock Charge Piping?

When you ran that dyno did you record hp/tq numbers? Was there any difference? What temps were you seeing with the stock piece in similar conditions?

People keep saying that, but you need to realize that smaller turbos heat the air more than larger turbos at the same boost level. The cooler you can get the air before it gets to the motor, the more air will flow through the intake ports in the head. You can also run more timing advance when the intake air is cooler.

Yes, you can use the stock charge tubes.

I dyno compared this IC against the race IC that I have been running. At 25-26psi, the race IC was worth 3-4 HP with slightly better flow and temps about 6-7 degrees lower by the end of the pull.

We haven't really listed the race IC for sale. We could build them for anyone interested, but it would run about $750-$800. The core is 28x11x4.5.

Do you have to remove the crash bar like the srt's lol or will it work with it in place.

How low is it? Do you have a shot from the ground? My preference would be for the stock flap behind the IC to still be exposed. Main concern here is that a minor off road trip shouldn't dent up the IC.

looks great guys!

any chance of doing some pressure drop testing Vs other IC's?

I've got a manometer set up if you want to. itd be a great chunk of data for you guys to prove this is the best.

^^^^ Not for me :P

I think the street one will sell great if you can price it right. I might be wishing but 350-400$ would be a great price range.

We measured pressure at both IC inlets, but unfortunately, we are measuring boost in the intake, so the pressure drop would include the IC, lower charge tube, and the throttle body. I will get more dat on this, but I can already say that pressure drop will not be an issue. We were seeing less than 2 psi drop between the upper charge tube, all the way to the intake with boost pressures approaching 30. This is very good considering that there is a small throttle body in there.

Nice, Quick question what about a bigger TB, will that do anything as far as help up out

Better throttle response, more hp, blah, blah, blah, just figured I'd ask.
