They should make a lower ic pipe that fits the sensors without the maf relocation

Our IC doesn't move the tubes compared to the stock IC. I was just saying that our charge tube moves the sensors for more clearance.

I will see if we can do some without the MAF pad in the next batch. It will lower the price a decent amount, so that could be a good idea.

That looks good.

This works well with relatively stock parts? I mean I'm going to be Trifecta tuned, but no turbo swap or anything.

not trying to say anything negative by saying this.this is just addressing a post i seen awhile back. seen a few people complain about the intercooler hanging slighly below the bumper. seems like yours does too along with all the rest if im not mistaken.

people want an upgrade not a downgrade correct? sometimes theres give and take. in this case you want to optimize the size of the core to gain a full benefit from the stock turbo. or a smaller size turbo upgrade. yeah it might hang down a little lower but unlike the race intercoolers i run and zzp runs where we have the crash bar removed the street intercoolers are still retaining the crash bar causing for a larger intercooler to sit lower.

props to you guys looks like a nice intercooler.

it actually looks about flush with the bumper, i hope its not a little lower, people dont wanna destroy it on first pot hole.

Here's a pic of with the tape pressed up against the bumper support. The bottom of the IC is about 8-1/4" below the bumper support.

In the next pic, the tape is hanging on the IC, so you can see that the IC is actually about 8-1/8" tall. You can also tell that the IC could be moved up about 1/8" further.

Here is a pic from the side taken perfectly in line with the bottom of the IC.

FWIW, the race IC I have been running since last summer hung down at least 1/2" more than this IC and here is a pic of how the bottom of it looks today. My car is lowered as well, and I have drove it onto the dyno ramps dozens of times.
those were the pics i was looking for. im not knocking the intercooler by all means. just saying that some people complain about it being slightly lower then the bumper. i guess you really cant even count the front lip because its easy to rip that thing off and you see how many people have already screwed up their lips.

regardless all the companies want to improve on their intercooler there for making a larger one. just saying some compromises have to be made with a bigger core. people just need to try and avoid pot holes. every aftermarket intercooler ive seen out so far hangs a bit belowe the bumper.

Im gonna bump this. I was wondering if this intercooler is ready for sale yet? has anyone purchased it from the website? Recieved it? and installed it? Im thinking I'll get this and install both the intercooler and the charge pipe at the same time, lol.
