im running out of time for the 2011 season to get the car ready, once again, what is the difficulty in selling me cams and emailing me a base tune I can use to dial in, I do have HPT. Or how about I send yall my tune and you send me back the tune you think works best for the car with stock turbo and your cams. I already run the le5 exhaust cam with marginal difference, nothing seat of the pants persay but I do have reduced EGTs by about 50 degrees. I have no use for a ported head, I have no use for a big turbo, no use for parts that are great for 12 seconds but untested for twenty minutes continuous stress.

I'm telling ZZP I will be your test mule, all you have to do is sell me some cams, furthermore I can report on how the car performs this season versus last. And most important, be able to declare if this will make more power with less EGT.

 

I think a real justice would be done to this thread if no one else posted in here.

ZZP has done their part to improve this community. They've been under scrutiny several times, and they let their parts talk.

I chose to go a different route, and I made close to you with a TVS. Hopefully you get your issues figured out.

I ask those from ZZP that they not bother posting in here anymore. A constant pursuit of causing friction and baseless arguments is truthfully not worth their time.

So scarab, have a good day, and when you get to that point, come out to chicago and meet up with the guys that won't show numbers. Pretty sure you'll understand when you go out there.

I guess I should have emailed Edelbrock and TrickFlow everytime I ordered a part for my Camaro and demanded before and after dyno results of their products, then throw a fit if my car didn't meet those exact numbers.

Or maybe I shouldn't have ordered the stage 1 cams for my Redline from ZZP since they could not give me exact numbers on how my car will perform after the install.

Why cant you just be thankful that there is a company actually making performance parts for our cars.

OP, I see what you're trying to get at but I also see that in the process, prior to this thread, you screwed yourself and whatever credibility you had/could have had.

Best of luck in your quest. I'd suggest being a bit more of an adult about the situation instead of the constant flaming and poo slinging.

ZZP, you guys put up great products and do great research. Not yet sold on the idea of cams/ported head for a stock turbo car but definitely keep up the great work.

 

This is the type of person who would be lost without "Stage Kit" upgrades. Not knowing what to do, or in what order, but I want to go faster so I just have someone install it, and than ehump their vendor and ehump others.

I can see the concerns on both sides. Both have points, some valid. But my big question is to scarab, why do you care so much. If you are not happy with the product (which you do not own), do not buy it. Your not the internet police, and no one wants you to be either. If others are satisfied with a what a company does or does not produce (or however you see it) let them go with it, or make their own mistakes or awesome purchases.
