06 Cobalt SS/SC mods?

Ok first off I am new to any kind of modding and cars in general. I have learned a lot from my buddy that had a supercharger on his focus, but still don't know a lot. Here are some of the mods that I am thinking about doing for my car. Just wanted to get some opinions on what I want and maybe what I should change for more performance.

First off I want to Change out the stock super charger with the OTT Stage 3 kit. Now I am going off what the site has available so please excuse any idiocy from me. I was going to grab the oversize tensioner puley, set the rev limiter at 7400 RPMs. I was going to have my torque managment removed. I was also going to also purchase a LS4 TB for this kit too and for ***** and giggles get the NGK 2 step colder plugs.

Well after that I was going to pick up a K & N cold air intake, The Hurst short throw shifter, Eibach Front and Rear Sway bar kit, the Ingalls Stiffy engine Torque Dampener and the OTTP rotated Trans Mounts (stage 1).

To Help with cooling I was also going to get the DVC -30 Meth Kit. Which is also why I wanted to get the LS4 TB because I was reading you can order them with a meth port.

I was going to order the Clutch and flywheel from Clutchmasters.com.

Now from what I heard the engine and transmission can handle a lot of power before actually having to do any additional work to them. I currently don't plan I taking heavy turns at high speeds so I was going to leave the stock suspension system in.

For some cosmetic effects I wanted to obviously get some HIDS and I wanted to replace the hood and trunk with a carbon fiber ones, but I want them to look as stock as possible.

I want my car to look and sound as stock as possible, I know the OTT supercharger isn't going to be quite at all but that is one of those things I am fine with. Now I am not really sure on what I should get for exhaust, but I don't want my cobalt to sound like a pissed off bumble bee.

Again I am really new to this, I have had my car for about a year and half already and just PCSed to Korea for 1 -2 years so i will have money to drop on my car. Any tips would help out a lot and I would greatly appreciate it. I just want to have fun with this project. anything I can do on my own I will try but I'm not trying to screw too much up lol. I also plan on getting a custom tune for it too.

that is a great start. the exhaust will be the next thing you should replace. the gmpp is good. with the harrop it flows a ton more air so exhaust is a must. the only other thing is cooling mods. with the drastic amounts more heat the harrop is producing you will need dual pass, option b, and either a second heat exchanger or the griffin direct replacement.

Just throwing this out there. Have you looked at zzp's Turbo swap? Its worth the extra money. Not to mention with Meth and the cooling mods for the tvs kit you will end up spending almost the same amount

I thought about it, but there is just something about the Superchargers whine that gets me going.

Don't jump on the turbo bandwagon if you don't want to!

Everyone and their mom has made the turbo swap.

I'm also refusing to switch over. It's getting to the point where it seems like more cars have been turbo swapped than are still SC.

There is a reason why people are going Turbo.
Possibly the same reason why Chevy decided to make a Turbo cobalt instead of keeping it super charged. Its just way more to drive
