It all depends how well you have everything else flowing. With a full exhaust i would say 16psi ish

you will get more then 20 fer sure as long as you have full exhaust and intake.

Just went 2.8 and see roughly 17.5 to 20. Depends on outside. Saw 20psi for a few days and now seeing roughly 18

Exhaust will lower your boost, which is good. I saw 15.5psi on a 2.7 spinning to 7200 with a fairly well flowing exhaust. I could have put stock exhaust back on and hit 20+....and been a lot slower. **** I only hit 19psi on my 2.9 on the TVS

Boost is a measurement of restriction. If you will be happy with 20 or 22 then leave you're stock exhaust on... It doesn't mean you are making more power. With a small pulley, the lower the boost you run, the less restriction you have aka the more power you are making.

at a 2.6 the eaton is not making power just torque if i remember corectly you are just generating heat.

I got a 2.8 @ 18psi and no cooling mods and do just fine I don't get on it all the time just once in while. Only thing is that it heat soaks faster then stock but if u race frequently or are extra safe get a heat exchange and dual pass. I wouldn't get meth unless u got a tvs but thats just me.

You should only be seeing 15psi or so with that pulley. If you are seeing more you have a restriction somewhere. Which IIRC you are running the stock DP now right? That could be your restriction causing you too boost more and lose power. The lower the boost on the same pulley setup = the more efficient your car breathes.

We could put on a 1" exhaust and boost 30psi all day and make 170whp.

Exactly. More boost does not always mean more power. I saw 15 psi with my 2.8" and 17psi after installing my meth. Stock exhaust. It will vary with altitude and temp changes.
