Simply amazing results! It's a milestone to show the tuner scene how much potential the LSJ has with less than $1k invested. Keep up the excellent work!

Congrats guys! As I told Rob on the phone, sweet numbers! I'm extremely impressed! What's even more impressive is how much more potential these cars have! Congrats again Rob, Hoosier Performance, and INTENSE- you guys do really awesome work! Take care.

Did you guys do anything to the boost bypass, or is everything still as it was stock?

The only thing different from psi-fi's kit is the injectors, and it looks like you guys had much better numbers than mine. My dyno at 245whp was with 3"catback, stock intake, and hot humid summer weather. I should try and dyno again though, car feels much stronger now.

This kit gives 25whp more? This is a great alternative, IF these numbers prove to be repeated.

In the end though, if this kit with 42lb injectors puts out these numbers... Then the GM stage 1/2 combined with 2.8" should yeild the same, likely even better numbers. It would be the ultimate setup. That is my plan, keep the 2.8"pulley and larger tensioner. Just ditch the powerpack and go with the GM reflash.

GREAT WORK GUYS! Really nice numbers! Nice to see another option for the LSJ.

great work guys!! i'm too waiting for the gm stage kits, but sh*t if this is basically the same thing i might go with this for the price. the thing is will our stock pistons hold up to this power level. I've been hearing to many rumors about our pistons only able to take 300 and our heads only able to take 270. so idk. i guess im gonna have to wait and see. But if i do decide to go wit the stage kits i might go stage one wit a 2.8" pulley and like people are saying here we'll prolly end up wit the same results.

What size are our injectors stock? When I got my car dyno'd the guy in the shop said they were Green Bosch Injectors and they were 42 LBS. He has built some of the fastest cars in Toronto so I tend to believe him. I am just going by what he said though, I really have no idea what size they are. This is definitly making me want the GM kit even more now because I see the GM kit being as good if not better when combined with the 2.8" pulley.

Good work boys!!!!!!!

You need bigger injectors, plain and simple. Here's an excerpt from our website:

That's from the following link:

two questions: what if you want more then 295 whp then what you need other set of bigger injectors? and my second question is how do you tune the maf translator. I mean im a tech myself, but is it something i need to take somewhere or something that i can do?

I already have a MAF translator installed. Is there anything special yours does right now? I can alert on RPM and Load (map voltage)

EDIT- I have a DTEC-FC installed and allows me to modified my MAF signal to whatever I want.

All I can say is congratulations for the good results, 270 WHP compared to 230 WHP stock, that is a strong 17 % WHP improvement ! There is no way the Gm stage 1 neither stage 2 will give that kind of improvement, my guess is at the most 12 % from the stage 2 (that include only a 3,1" pulley good for 2 more PSI of boost). Please let us know the other results soon ! Stay tuned also for my results very soon with your 2,6" MPS pulley, since i've also bought the same Lucas 42lb/hr (unfortunately not from Intense) with other connectors. I will have the same setup than Rob, plus a shorty header, a 2,5" catback, a high flow filter and the 2,6" pulley, my guess is it will be near of 20 PSI. I already achieved a 17% WHP improvement with the current setup (3" pulley), I can't wait to see how my 05 will achieve ! Sincerly, congratulations again to your efforts.

Jean-Marc,

Rumors have been floating that boost over 18-19 lbs could be dangerous to the blower you may want to tread carefully in that area. Good luck with your numbers!

My car is a lease also!!

It is VERY eas to instal and then reverse the procedure later. I used 3M heat activated sealing splices to facilitate an easier task going back to stock. The maff harness is right by the PCM and easy to get to. The injector harness comes out and lays on the bench for VERY easy modification. To me, a little wiring work is worth it to save an extra 100.00 in connectors. Remember, GM thinks thier connectors are gold!

Thanks to all the congrats guys, and remember, i'm doing this for all of us!

One other thought to keep in mind. Soon we will have tuning software available for these cars so why waste your money on a PCM that still has to conform to emissions standards and that you'll be flashing over anyways soon with custom software???

Just a thought If you're like me, i can't wait and i like to go fast on a budget.

I get a p0141 every 3 drive cycles but i just reset it with my Aeroforce gauge. I didn't really notive any gain on the dyno from removing the cat. I just did it to save it (its a lease)since some have had issues with thiers after going to smaller pullies

im interested in this as well, kudos for the numbers with such little done!
