that sounds like a 1 in a million chance... when i first got the gauge it read a little low like 236hp or something and i knew it was close cuz i dynod with same mods and got 240whp, so maybe i got lucky but i think there pretty close seems how conditions were probaly diff from the dyno day

Must be that cali air over there mine scanned 276 and when I swapped out my stock plugs for NGK BKR7E's it went to 283.

So with a 5% FWD drivetrain loss thats 268.85hp

Can't wait to get the 2.8!

Hey area47 how much timing were you able to pull with meth I have a thread about meth injection questions and anwsers and that was disscused. You can check it out here....https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/2-0l-lsj-performance-tech-47/straight-anwsers-water-meth-injection-96120/

Yeah I know but better to be optimistic then Pesimistic right?

be pesimistic about it. you're not likely to be let down in the end.

timing is a relative term so to speak. my ability to do what i do comes from a lot of work, and someone else's timing may be something different.

i will say for a fact that car loses hp above 24.5 degree's. there is also a catch to this, but thats something that the end user has to figure out

I think they measure crank hp. Good tool to measure how you compare before and after a mod.

i think its a very broad ballpark guess on your crank hp....

and yep, the before and after is helpful for sure.

but reading that number, and tellin people "oh i have XXX HP" is a 4 letter word pertaining to a white, or sometimes brown, grain.

area, you have so many secrets... i understand you have put in countless hours of tunning to figure them out, but why make others suffer? so you have broken the ice... now let others swim! why so secretive... its like third grade again "i know something you dont know"

because no one held my hand when i jumped into the meth injection. i had a head start due to my background, and help from a select few people on here.

you have a choice, sink or swim. i swam.

i know a lot other people do not about these engines. you just have to know where to look and how to get past the hurdle of blowing the engines up to achieve numbers.

my suggestion is read. read a lot. learn as much as you can about the internal combustion engine. they ALL work under the same principles. nothing is a secret, nothing is out of the ordinary.
