574's TVS mini build
because know wants to spend the time doing what it takes look at what gm made on a 2.9 pulley on the m62 with just a set of good cams that engine would motivate a balt to a good solid pass in the 12s( a 12sec car is no slow bitch) there is a lot to be had but again another one gives up well one day you hopefully you will learn its not about hp its all about e.t.
Funny a zzp turbo swapped yellow cobalt making just over 400 hp with slicks was running 11.95 on youtube. You can keep that 100 extra lbs of supercharger, option b, gallon of coolant, water filled HE, tubes, etc. The argument that its always faster is absurd.
So excited for you, turbos are easier on the drivetrain if the driver isnt a moron. Electronic Boost controllers are also a whole new way of having fun with boost. I freaking love my car!
electronic boost controlers aren't anything new and a snail is a ton harder on the drive train because of how the power comes on

The TVS is fun, but at a point it is limited. Nick is at the point where he wants 400-500HP. He doesn't care about taking it to the 1/4, he wants a highway monster. So the 1/4 time argument is null and void...
if you think the tvs is holding him back then your wrong infredline bust plenty of ass evo's,cobra's,and so on and he dose it from a roll and is more then capable to do it from a dig but in the end roll racing only proves one thing that most people cant drive what they got

I mean for me personally it's nice starting in 3rd so I don't spin the entire time hahaBut anyways, like I said the TVS is fun but he's wanting big numbers. To each their own I suppose. Honestly if I had the time, I'd love picking up an IRL and TVS and getting a cam and building the motor and getting the full potential out of the TVS. It's sad but true, most that buy the TVS don't try and get the full potential. I was one of them, had it on my 06 SS, with cooling mods, fuel mods, meth and all that Jazz. Should have built the motor and done it right, but I gave up
Really, It's All about Cams and what's Your Supporting Mods on the Car. Too many People are missing the point and kept going easy way out on Turbos. Turbo is an easy way out but more maintenance on the Car that You will have to keep Your Eyes On. Supercharge can Work if You know What You are doing Your way through it and less maintenance on Your Car but of course still keep an Eyes on it. Also Supercharge are easy to do tuning than Turbo. I like Supercharge and Turbo both are Awesome. It all depends on where You want to get Your Car where You want it to be.

yelcal, I would have to disagree, once a turbo car is setup properly there isnt much to maintain at all. On a SC car you constantly have the pump going out or guys who rebuild them once a year as maintenance and you have to watch IAT's like a hawk. I got rid of my scan guage when I went to my innovate gauges setup. No need to watch Iat 1 or 2 because they both display at the same temp in a turbo car. Detination due to heat is less likely in the turbo setup.
Just stating my two experiences with the SC and now the turbo.

It's alright C130, Everybody has different Opinions. But My Point has stated that It's All About Cams that Where You can unleash the Power of Supercharger or Turbo. It goes both ways! ;-)
i have stock lsj cams right now and while they are good, I really want to see what this thing will do with Stage 2 turbo cams or the comp equivalent.
street lower power band with the stage 2 lsj turbo cams. Stage 3 is in a range I wouldnt use very often. My car has always been about the street and DD duty. Not that its been my dd, I have it under the knife all the time.
