whoever sold you that rod, if the cavalier guy did, I would get my money back. He sent you a bad rod.

You either should get 1 rod replaced or get that Money back from that Guy. If He's willing ? I would be pissed, Did He showed that in the Picture in the 1st place ? If Not then He is shaming You. That's Bullshit!

Oh I know I just wanted it to look pretty for some pictures haha. I will have all four mounted when I start assembling. I'm gonna send a picture to zzp and ask if they will warranty it.. I'm gonna ask the guy if he will refund some money too... if not maybe a paypal dispute I don't know..

ZZP will not warranty that. If you read the other guys build thread he had a bearing failure. Just failed to mention the rod went down with it.

Edit: Found the post. Note to self, don't use his machine shop lol

"went to dyno and car had a ton of blowby and made a whopping 190whp at 3800rpm the rings didn't seat so it wouldn't hold anymore and when I was tearing it down to replace rings I found the rod bearings were starting to go had the rods checked by local machine shop they said they were good and I don't feel like dumping anymore money into it for something else to go wrong. prolly end up putting a LE5 bottom end with L61 head and a M62 and just daily the car."

Personally I would get them all checked again man. He said the bearings were starting to fail. To me that sounds like all. And if they said the burnt one is good who knows about the rest.

that rod looks similar to mine in the cylinder that I spun a rod bearing on (only not as bad). i'd be surprised if its not out of round. why chance it and risk doing it all a 3rd time?
