Think of meth injection as a 5th injector. When you hit the throttle at say 1/4 percent you don't want your injectors to spray as if you were at full throttle. Meth is the same concept. It's not just a cooling mod.

if u dont mind high idc's then by all means enjoy the 2.8 with 42lbers... whichever your comfterable with... id just rather have a little extra room and not run things on the edge just to save a 200 bucks or whatever they cost... just one less thing to worry about when your getting into your car

at 1/4 throttle, i wouldnt expect meth to kick on at all, nor would i need any extra fueling at that point...

lol, wow I did not expect that many responses. Ok so basically no HP gain unless I drop a pulley, obviously I know I have to get a tune. I'm assuming if I drop pulley sizes you're talkin cooling mods next?

This post has fail written all over it.

To the op, buy the 60lbers. If you want to drop pulley sizes I highly recommend you buy methanol injection as a cooling mod. When dropping pulley sizes you have to worry about making heat and A LOT of it quickly. Methanol injection is the BEST cooling mod that we currently have for our cars. Not only is it used as a cooling mod, it is also used to help prevent detonation aka knock retard. I also recommend that you buy an interceptor gauge to monitor your temps and your knock.

You can definitely have high idc's with 60lbers and a 2.8 pulley.

i saw 95% idcs with my 2.9 and #42`s. if you get 70% with a 2.8 and #60s you fail. Man and i was hoping for a good conversation.

Would you like screen shots of it happening?

It's always in the tune of course, but don't expect to have extremely low idc's when your making some serious power.

LOL ya that's it some of the best tuners out there have NO clue what there doing. Poor paul, poor byran, man I feel bad for them lol. Do you have ANY idea what your idc's are with that 2.5inch pulley, or are you not a tuner?

argue some more to yourself. you are wasting time. you should not see 70% idcs with 60`s and a 2.8.
