After all of the research and mistakes...
Ok guys, performance upgrades for our Cobalt SS's are not hit and miss anymore. The research and mistakes have been made. The afterarket has responded and we now have many performance parts available.
I have waited for my cobalt to be paid off. Now I want to upgrade from stock.
I have an 100% stock '06 SS and want to give it more power.
What are the best "bang for the buck" performance upgrades available today. Please include where to buy, projected gains, cost, and installation headaches.

Cobalt & Ion ---> ZZ Performance
^this for starters. gains of around 75whp from where you are now, around $500 (Idk, never checked out)
I'm not going to give you an entire action plan list, because it is very unrealistic you will follow it anyways

Its all on what you want.....lots of power its best to go tvs and find a excellent tuner or do a turbo swap. I personally love the whine and my build hasnt cost me that much..I mix matched my kit but basically a stg 3 I guess.

I don't want to go hog wild with the upgrades. Just a little more poop to keep me excited about driving the SS for a few more years. I like the looks of the ZZP stage 3. Price is right. If I remember correctly ZZP has been around a long time and makes some mad racing engines. I will be doing the install myself. I don't have a lift but have a nice jack.lol

I suggest making your decision if you want to stay super charger or go turbo. Reason is if you stay supercharger you can do a lot of things and build yourself up as u go along, but if you end up going turbo almost all mods done sc related will be replaced and you'd have to sell it all anyway.

anyways OP don't forget to tell zzp that you have a stock airbox, so there is no confusion. Tell them BONE STOCK.
