bad boost need help

I have a 06/sc with gm stage 2 cai, catback. All i see is about 10 psi, i did the bypass mod and hit 12.5 tops. So im thinking bad bypass maybe belt slip 50,000 miles, my iat 2 are 138-145 and 5600 elevation maybe thats why im unable to hit the 15 i suppose to. Or could there be any reason why boost so low.

bump?

my only guesses would be belt slip and the thin air could possibly cause that..less pressure.. less psi doesnt mean less power neccesarily

does it feel strong or does it feel like it should have more??

Theoretically you shouldn't see a drop in charge pressure when you have lower outside pressure. The real world includes inefficiencies, but I'd still rule out altitude.

So we going with 140 iat2 and bypass. Cause I did see 2 psi with mod, and lower iat crame a little more boost.

It shouldnt be belt slip if he used the gm stage 2 belt. That belt fits snug as hell with the stage 2 pulley. Altitude can deff play a part in the lower boost, but 10 psi is very low for a stage 2 car even at high altitude.

If it was belt slip you would know. when i had my SC belt slip would happen and throw me forward in my seat. Maybe bad gauge, vacuum line pinched/collapsed, gasket leak, improper tune.

I have a 2006 ss/sc and I'm having bad ass boost problems. I 'm running stock and I bought her used, and I'm only pushing 2.5 psi. Any suggestions?
