I'm close to doing the same thing. I'm going Friday to watch two Red Lines get tuned at a local shop using a Greddy Emanage. If I'm happy with the results I may be going that route.
Let me know how that goes. I'll definately taken the E-manage route if someone can do a P&P harness. The Scion guys are boosting like crazy using E-manage, and they are reliable daily drivers.

Intense kit with E-manage = FAST!

one RL owner got 260 hp from that exact mod. I think the place he got it done at will do the same thing for $500. I think he spent more during the tuning process. Not a bad price honestly...another option to RIU and Intense

That's what ZPI did for the Scion TC turbo kits, and they got their cars into 11 sec Quarter miles! If it can be hooked up appropriately, I'd have no problems running it. My 10:1 A/F ratio is just plain horrible for power and gas. The technology is out there, people just need to use it.

By the way where is Revitup's SMT-6 Stage 2 stuff?

Is the Greddy Emanage Engine Control Unit the same thing pretty much as the Rev It Up Stage kits? Or would it be good to have both?

AHAHAHAHA.

Sorry. Just had to let that out. This is what people get for waiting for stuff from GM. By the time you get it on your car you are already out of warranty anyhow. So what's the point? Lol. Just bite the bullet and buy the Intense kit. It will probably make more power anyhow.

this is my 2cents i believe its still in test and that they are not going to come out with a upgrade until they know for sure its not going to blow the engine or cause future problems down the road you all know how long it take to design and test a car this **** doesnt happen overnight and testing motors is a long process in its self. Plus nobody on this site knows 100% about these kits. One day its a week next min its a month next sec. its tomorrow.......................................... ..............

The guy has NO clue what he is talking about. This is the last time I'll reference him.

Straight from the DTC code list on here...

P0172 Fuel Trim System Rich -PCM

So the rich code does exist.

Dude, Intense and Rev It Up already have their own kits out. They seem to be pretty reliable from what I have seen so far (with proper tuning of course). I mean how long should this process take? It shouldn't take this long. I can see this item being delayed at the most 2 months. It's going to be 4 months soon (original release date was late December) and i'm pissed and have been pissed for a while.

The only reason why i'm not going to Intense or RIT is because of the tuning involved. I don't want to buy all of these gauges that cost a lot of money to tune the car, especially when you have to tune it differently for the winter and summer (from what I hear). Making good performance and reliability should not be taking this long. Like I said, 2 months would've been ok, but almost 4 months now....Cmon GM, i'm counting on you guys to release this kit very soon since you have said "End of 1st quater" which is in like 7 or 8 days lol.

Tuning is honestly one of the funnest, most frustrating parts lol
