Best oil pump?

Hey guys, a long time ago, one of the members on here, maybe artillery, told me about a good trustworthy oil pump to include in building a fresh motor...well, I think that my oil pump took a **** on my car yesterday, still haven't pinpointed the problem, but I may have to rebuild and I am already expecting the worst. Does anyone on here know which one? I am going to be doing DR pistons on stock rods and ARP head studs while it is open. My friends are going to come over this weekend and help me figure out what the problem is. Thanks for everyone's help!!!

MIke (soon to be fast)

The oil pump sits on the passenger side of the block I believe but I don't have any pics. A shop did mine. But I will look.
