also take the throttle body out and clean it too. that sometimes has something to do with throttle response. other than that i will keep thinking but i got nothin else as of now

How many miles are on your car and when was the last time you changed the spark plugs? These cars can go through spark plugs pretty quick with there rich tunes and there even more rich gm stage 2 tunes lol. I recommend changing out the spark plugs first, if the problem still persists try cleaning your MAF sensor and your throttle body. If you have more then 50k miles on the car, or close to, also change your fuel filter. Since your stock, take your air filter out and hit it against your leg a few times to get all the dust out and put it back in. That is pretty much the basics to start. I recommend doing this stuff on a warmer day.

I changed my fuel filter at 18K miles , and you wouldnt believe the **** that came out of it . I only run 93 at good gas stations too. I'm changing mine at 10K from now on.

I had the same thing going on last week, My engine would sputter at high RPMs and would bog out and hesitate. And I was losing gas milage. I ended up replacing the spark plugs and it all went away and the car runs great and normal now. It could be four things but start off with the cheapest repair first of course

1) spark plugs are bad and need replacing
2) THe Fuel filter is bad or fuel lines are clogged somewhere
3) Coil Pack bad
4) wore case senario but highly doubt it, Your timing is off
