boost bypass

what is this boost bypass that somepeople are doing this is my first car that is boosted and i dont know to much yet but am always reading and learning more please help

In the time it took to right that response you could have given him a clear explanation.

I did a search and came up with crappy results...not one telling me exactly what the boost mod is.

Bypass mod

Here is the thread that will explain it to you. Look at post #2. It should be safe to do as long as you don't have a smaller pully a sea level due to possible leaning out. I'm sure someone who has done this mod would be able to elaborate more or you could search alittle bit. Search Bypass mod and look through the results.

What it does is stop the computer from limiting you boost when your at WOT and any where it would cut it off for protection from abuse.

The problem with searching for 'boost' and 'mod' on this site is that almost every thread has these two words in it. On any other topic I would agree that searching first is the answer.
