Boost and CAI

I just installed my AEM intake and i was expecting my boost to go up a lil.

well after putting in my stage 2 i was at about 15 psi plus or minus some.

but today i was at like 14, maybe 14.5

im guessing this is because it is 92 out today. so i will run it in the evening and see what thats like. also will my boost be increased if i use another heat exchanger or will it just keep it cooler (which i thought that would increase boost cuz theres more molecules or whatever)

teach me

boost doesnt=power so dont worry too much. it will also fluctuate depending on air temps and elevation

anything that makes the engine breath better can result in less boost, but more power.

you wont lose boost with an intake but u wont see a difference in boost with a cai but you will gain power.

As far as I know the only thing that's going to increase your boost is a smaller pulley. Generally better flow (exhaust)=less boost but that's not necessarily a bad thing.
