When I turn on my ignition, there are times when my boost gauge needle jumps to the top of the gauge. If I tap the gauge, the needle slides to the bottom as if it weren't even powered. When I drive, the needle repeats that motion. Stuck at the top, then when driving, slides to the bottom; then jumps back to the top and repeats. Only occasionally does it work correctly now since there are times i start and drive and it goes from malfunctioning to going back to normal.

Why would it be doing that though? Has anyone had the same problem with their ss/sc?

 

could be a short of some sort i would have it checked out it also could be your waste gate but i aint sure

 

happened to me about 2 months ago, warranty covered it
