boost and idle problems

got an 06 ss sc with vibrant header and dp megan racing catback zzp stage 3 2.8pulley with s3 h.e. cai and tuned on hptuners. so my problem is when im boost its only letting me get 5 lbs of boost and sometimes it lets me get 18-19 lbs and when it does it holds for a sec then drops back down to 5.my i/c pump is shot and getting it fixed tomorrow and was hoping someone can help me out and if that pump is making me not get boost and making my idle bounce like crazy to a point where it stalls out.thanks

The idle will be rough without the intercooler. Hot air = detonation. No good.

remove and clean the the throttle plate and if the ic pump is bad yes it will cut boost and hot air wont make the idle jump

fixed the pump today still no boost only 5lbs the idle stopped jumping around so far so good.just still no more than 5lbs of boost got code 101 but thats from intake putting stock back on to solve that problem.no boost is whats killing me. only other thing i could think of is the bypass valve.

Check the bypass valve. if its not that..
Check out your car's main ground located under the driver's heaadlight. if its corroded pretty bad it could cause power surges. ive bin driving my car since nov with a bad ground and had no idea until it was too late and my starter was shot, wasnt throwing any codes. car runs completely better once i replaced the starter and really cleaned up my ground. night and day difference. its worth a shot. i know some people have grounding issues. causes a whole mess of electronical problems
