Exclamation Boost only at 4 PSI max. Codes also. Need help please!

Had the problem ever since my new motor was put in...

Right now the Heat exchanger isnt working but should be tomorrow, could this be causing it?
The heat exchanger is getting little coolant and its also not dexcool, would that have anything to do with it? Or what else should I look into?

I also had 3 codes coming up without the CEL coming on..

P0172 is due to the injectors – it needs to be disable

P0341 is due to some problem with the camshaft position sensor

P0353 is due to “ignition coil3 control circuit”

Not sure what they mean...or how I can fix em.

I just replaced all 4 spark plugs and all 4 ignition coils above the spark plugs....so not sure why the third code is still coming up...

Any help would be AWESOME!

thanks

Ur heat exchanger isnt working. Whats not working about it? The reason its there is to just hold the coolant like a radiator.

Well I was getting the car tuned, but we data logged it first and the log showed the super charger coolant getting over 200 degrees. Which came to the conclusion that the heat exchanger isnt working.

Before I had the new motor put in, I had the Dual Pass coolant mod. But after, the mechanic took that out and put the stock one back in, but he left all the mods and piping for the Dual pass mod...so instead of removing and rerouting all the tubes, I'm going to put the Dual Pass back in tomorrow to get coolant running back to it.

We listened and compared two Cobalts to mine, and the pump turns on...which I suppose doesnt always mean it works....How could I tell, I'm going to have it apart tomorrow

Will do, think that would cause the boost to be less than 5 PSI? Or you think its something else?

Well Update....
I got the Dual Pass all tubed up and working again.
I also swapped superchargers, manifold intakes, and even cleaned the TB. Still the car get less than 5 PSI....
What other causes could be doing this? Anyone out there know?

check on your bypass valve. It is possible you have the vacuum lines reversed on that.

I've seen a couple other threads about it....and a lot of people say its the supercharger going out or something about the TB.

Which I've swapped superchargers, and I've cleaned the TB very well....

I'm not sure what else would cause it to only run a max of 4 PSI....all the power is drained from my poor SS...

Sorry to resurrect such an old thread, but this is my exact problem with my car at the moment, i see the OP hasn't been on since feb.... Does anyone know of this boost sensor he's talking about? Location or anything? I just swapped supercharger yesterday, swapped boost solenoid, bypass valve... no boost leaks, still boosting 3/4 PSI.

The only thing that really controls your boost is the bypass valve, if that opens up then you wont be creating any pressure.
