bought a cobra IC pump

It looked like it would work from the picture, but i got it and it is a little small. It would still work (I think, but unsure)

heres the link: Intercooler SuperCharger water Coolant Pump Mustang SVT - eBay (item 130452835753 end time Apr-06-11 20:34:05 PDT)

It's suppose to flow a little more if I read correctly, but how is it if it is soo small? what is the hose diameter of our stock heat exchanger pump?

Doesn't look like my OEM pump. Could be wrong though.

it's from cx racing, but when I compared them it's pretty small.

I'm pretty sure this is the pump you want. I noticed that ZZP upped their price of the pumps they are selling on ebay.

That's a CX Racing brushless pump. Requires splicing the wiring (+ and -, use a DMM to confirm which is which) and some innovation for mounting.

Works well for the price. The inlet/outlet diameter is the same (3/4") for both pumps. I'm curious to see how long it lasts.

Oh, and pick up some non-hardening silicone to use on the outlet with the threads. Mine leaked, but I tightened the **** out of the clamp and miraculously it stopped somehow. ha

I still haven't put it in because my pump came back to life and is still running strong lol, I would imagine it would work with a little silicone on the hoses and something to close the space when it's on the bracket. It claims to have the same flow as the Bosch unit. When mine goes out Im going to throw it on.

it has one big advantage it is brushless and brushless motors take forever to wear out if they do at all

It's so small and light that you don't even need to use a bracket. Just install it onto the hose and leave it.
