If your on the stock dp the cat could be burning off some build up .... I've seen quite a few LSJ's plug up Cats over the years ....... I had one replace on my 06 SS/SC with 30K miles on it .

Rpms won't be erratic if the belt is slipping. The boost will be. Slipping belt doesn't see normal to me.

Whys your video gone?

We don't have a wastegate....

Fuel, just like when you do a hard pull sometimes and you get a black puff of smoke.

I get this smell too after pulls. Full traction. My velt is fine. New clutch. Also made this smell before and after i replaced my cat, clutch, and belt.

I think it smells about the same as clutch/brakes and i smell this after a pull before i hit the brakes so im fairly confident is not that. I dont get any noticeable slip either, my tensioner is new as well. Sooo idk lol. Just stuff getting hot and moving fast i guess

I use to get this a little and now that my cars modded I notice it more I noticed it the most with upgrading injectors to 80# I'm guessing that its excess fuel/carbon burning nothing to worry about check your coolant level though you said your cars stock so no option b kit? make sure your not sucking coolant through you cooler It happened to me the orings wore out an coolant was leaking into my engine and burning up. Didn't really smell like burning plastic more sweet smelling with LOTS of white smoke

clean your throttle body, then your idle jumping will go away.

could be belt. factory clutches are so tiny and weak theyre doomed to failure at any point in time.

The stock clutch is not weak

There have been many people with over 300 whp and a good amount of miles that had zero issue.

It's the kiddies who beat on the car, and don't know how to drive correctly that have issues.

I get a similar smell after wot but as many have said It's more than likely build up or unburnt fuel burning off inside the cat.

Unburnt fuel can lead to premature failure of the cat.

If you guys feel u have this issue, you are more than likely running very rich.

I would check the O2 sensor, clean the MAF sensor, check your plugs, check your air filter, and go from there.

You really shouldnt be smelling anything unless you are catless.
