The GT2871 is perfect for the LSJ. Just don't go the diesel turbo route like Dan did. The videos make it look like it lags forever.

yeah it did seem that way... but that thing must pull like a damn freight train once it spools. I like my little turbo for now, that is til I get used to it and bored and decide to go bigger.

think it's a t25 flange, but you might be able to get it with a t3 flange though.

Not directly from Garrett according to www.turbobygarrett.com . You may be able to from an aftermarket company.

now paul what choices do you have for upgrading your fuel system? as far as i know the only thing thats really out there is larger injectors. do any companies make aftermarket fuel rails, pumps, etc.

Dan's car gets full boost at about 4500ish with the cams. With cams and 15lbs it pulls just as hard as it did with stock cams and 20lbs. Soon to be in the area of 28lbs with meth.

Honestly, as bad as 4500 sounds, it isn't that bad. It's not like your sitting there for 10-20 seconds waiting. It takes like 3, just need to get used to driving the car in a different RPM range.

And yes it feels like a Boeing taking off a runway.

yeah these motors rev really fast as it is, so it's not big deal. just gotta drive in the higher rpm band that's all.

So i like the question about the fuel system. What options do we have for upgrades because maybe not right away but eventually we are going to need to upgrade the fuel system especially if people are going with alot bigger turbos.
