If he does release it, it's gonna be setup exactly like my car, external wastegate with dump, blow through maf setup. As for turbo options, I don't think he's going to order an upgrade, as getting this one to fit properly was a big enough pain in the ass. but I will talk to him next friday and see what he says

I was just going to do a custom setup with a GT28 but, after looking at Rebel's Group Buy price, it actually isn't that bad of a deal. Especially if their new custom exhaust manifold works out, that thing looks very nice.

But if CA can get a better price with a close setup, I would be there.

I don't know about the pistons, but the rods are no problem. You could probably talk to Diamond and have them make you a set of LSJ pistons with the 21mm wrist pin. Since they already make the LSJ pistons, I don't see why they couldn't make one with the smaller wrist pin without too much, if any extra charges.

good idea man. I'll see about that, But wouldn't the 2.2 pistons be the same bore and whatnot? cause if they do work, I"ll probably be buying those in a week or two and getting my motor finally assembled

They should be the same bore according to the GM Spec sheets. Talk to Diamond, they make pistons for both. They would know best.

the old prices are in this thread:https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/2-0l-lsj-performance-tech-47/rebel-auto-worxs-turbo-kit-group-buy-72861/

he hasn't pm'd me back with the new ones yet, based on the thread i'd imagine 500 more on each stage.

Can't wait to see what happens with the new engine. It's going to be a beast.

the piping is too small (2.5") need it to be 3", increased velocity is pegging the sensor out almost immediatly

not too bad, full spool by @4000 rpm, making @7-10 psi at 3k and so on. but once that thing hits it's all over. (on 14 psi and low timing it was already faster than my s/c setup on 21psi)

Turbo Boost > Supercharger Boost

Dans car @ 15lbs was definitely quicker than mine now.

Quick question, what did you do to the SCIP Sensor that is usually on top of the blower? Just ignore it?

I just disconneted it and shut off the cel code.
I'm gonna try planing with PE today to see if thats why the car is dumping fuel. Just realized I still have it set to come in a 2500 rpm from the s/c tune. That might be a factor since I'm only at like 3 psi vs 15-17 with the s/c. I'll delay to 3500 or 4000 or so and see what happens. hopefully it works cause I want to dyno on the 21st, and may run it this sunday at e-town if I can get it running right.

I was planning on using the same turbo t3/t4 57 trim, because i can get one through a friend for hella cheap new. I'm only looking to run 15-16lbs of boost. How much do you think the stock internals can handle?

cool, what do you think about having the turbo mouned off the downpipe instead of a turbo manifold?
