well for starters running a small turbo right now t-3 super60 just to get the piping, and tuning worked out, switching to either a gt2876 or a gt3076 soon. Kit will be available through cobalt-addiction once everything is finalized. Need to fix a few things though, piping from IC to T.B. was supposed to be 3" but didn't have the right bends at the time so I'm running 2.5" for the week. MAF is pegged early and I'm up to only 16psi right now due to tuning issues with the maf. also need to relocate BOV, guy welded the BOV adapter to the wrong pipe so right now it's after the MAf which is a big No-No car just dumps fuel between gears (which also makes a real nice fireball out the dump tube)
well without further delay here's some pics, new ones will be up once I find my damn digi camera. (oh yeah as for the vid, I blew out my turbo manifold gasket yesterday so it's sounds like ass and spool time is a bit longer, was at full spool at 3k when it was sealed

stay tuned for more updates.
so has anybody figured out how to overcome the maxed out maf frequency problem with hpt yet? is so i'd like to know what solution they came up with.

I have something I"m going to test on it tonight and see what happens... problem for me right now is they ran a 2.5" pipe from the IC to the TB so my maf frequencies are off the scale. Gonna try and scale it down tonight and see what happens

as for the kit:
T-3 super 60 turbo, IC piping, Intercooler (28x8x3 I think) Turbo manifold, external wastegate, wastegate dump tube, BOV (turbo XS) 4 ply couplers, t-bolt clamps, and I think that's it.
oh yeah just for fun I was doing some full pulls on the way to work this morning it was 84 degrees out, at the top of 3rd gear my IAT2's were in the mid 70's. can't beat that. If I can get the damn internet working on my laptop I'll post some scanner snapshots.
how are you getting IAT2's lower than the outside temp? thats just crazy

im hoping that CA releases this kit because then i could just go to the shop and buy it and not worry about other companies with their shipping but im still saving up. And with the purchase of a 360 tomorrow it will set me back a bit more but i rather wait.

yup running a semi small front mount to get rid of the first round of major heat, then the stock air/water setup, seems to do it's job flawlessly. I'm retuning the car again tonight, so I"ll get some good logs to post up to show temp differences. I also have some logs of my 2.55 setup with meth.

and for the kit, I'm pretty sure Kenny wants to release this to the public, he's mainly just waiting on me to finish the tuning and dialing in the boost.

Might be the one and only thing I buy from Cobalt Addiction.

Unless I get TTP to build me a custom one too

paul, increase the size of the inlet pipe to 3 inch or bigger to help with the maf pegging issue.

Why not just convert to LT1/LSx maf ? Ive not followed your entire build so maybe youve been there , I dunno . Thats how Rob overcame the issue on his , and weve got one on mine now too...not that I need it just yet

right now just helping them devlop the kit and get the tuning done. Once that's finished I'm pretty much ripping most of the stuff out and switching to an ls7 maf.
just a side note... turned the boost up tonight to 19psi just to see what it would do. 4th gear pull..... holy boost batman. Even at only partial throttle, car is a hell of a lot faster than it was with the s/c, like scary faster hit 120mph before I even knew what was happening. mind you this is stil not tuned all the way, and I still can't go more than 60% throttle
