Car cutting out

Car cutting out
Under normal driving conditions the car runs fine. I tried getting on it in second around 3-3.5k and the car completely cut out. Basically felt like I hit redline. Tried again and it did the same thing. I only tried it in second though. Idk if it threw a code because I have had a cel since I installed my downpipe. Any thoughts? Injector? spark plug? Ive also read about "limp" mode and it sounds similar.

well it could be limp mode but itll say engine power reduced,if its raing you coulda sucked water up into the maf, you could have a bad ic pump that is making your plugs foul out, your plugs could be bad and same wiht injector you need to find out about your cel then shoot from there.

ive been having the same problems like say i do a quick 2nd-3rd pull and shift at 6k then let her coast then try to do another pull it feels like i hit limp mode. i try to give it gas then it starts misfiring then clears up then misfires. turn her off and rest for a little bit then shes good to go. im thinking something in the tune but i am replacing the maf sensor since it shoots the code here and there then goes away.

New Plugs, new pump, new etc just going to put in new Maf so I hope that does it. I believe the code is p0103 or something like that it goes on then when I find a scanner it goes away.

yeah it does sound like a ground problem. i just replaced my alt and the lights are dimming on and off again. pain in the ass this car is.

if you ived near me id be able to help you out .. only thing i can do is help you with diaging like telling you were to look. first thing id check is the connection to the computer, and all the wiring from the alternatro, maf, and others that have given you a issue.

Welps I scanned the codes on m interceptor and there were 5 lol
p0069 map barometric pressure correlation
p0171 fule trim system lean
p0420 cat deficency
p0833 clutch pedal switch 2 circuit
p1133 ho2s insufficient switching sensor
Looks like a whole bunch of different bs going on lol

was it raining when the car started cutting out? My car does this too when it rains. I think its becuase there is a nasty little gap between my headlight and my front bumper where water gets directly onto my filter......causing it to fall on its face anytime it comes anywhere near boost, and also to throw a p0171
