clutch issues

just had my motor rebuilt and im having troubles getting it to go into first and reverse. reverse is really bad as it makes a loud thump noise like the clutch is engaging before i release the pedal. i have already bled the system multiple times. hoping someone could help with this issue as it was working before i got my motor built and the tranny pulled.

Did you replace the throwout bearing?

Sounds like a leak somewhere.

a guy here in springfield that used to work for all out performance but branched out and made his own company.

i missed a sympton. i have to shove it in, to get it into first and reverse. it will go in but its a bitch. this is while im stopped and sitting in my driveway. im afraid to drive it as sometimes it wont let me into a gear at all. especially after WOT pulls, it gets very bad.

Take it back to the original place where it was replaced, and find out if the throwout bearing inside the transmission was replaced.

Don't you have a receipt?

If that wasn't changed, that's almost definitely the problem. Unfortunately you'll have to pull the tranny again to swap it out. It helps to replace the metal clutch pipe while you do this as well, because that can leak and cause issues like you are describing.

Do it once, and do it right!

is a throwout bearing a piece that has to be replaced everytime you get into the tranny?

they are telling me its either the slave or master cylinder(s) but i also noticed that the rod on my clutch pedal is a little bent. i will try fixing that first and see what happens.
